French-Canadian Track Cyclist


Lauriane Genest was born in the city of Montreal in 1998. She spent her youth training as a figure skater, effectively making her way to the top of several junior podiums. Following an RBC Training Grounds identification camp in 2017, Genest focused her efforts on track cycling with the goal of representing Canada at the 2020 Olympic Games. Within two years Lauriane has successfully claimed national sprint titles and is the current Canadian record holder for the Flying 200m.
